നീ വഴങ്ങികൊടുത്തിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍ അവര്‍ക്കും വഴങ്ങിത്തരാമായിരുന്നു എന്നവര്‍ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു.(9)

(9) وَدُّوا لَوْ تُدْهِنُ فَيُدْهِنُونَ

They wish that you should compromise (in religion out of courtesy) with them, so they (too) would compromise with you.(9)
