സത്യനിഷേധികള്‍ക്ക്‌ ഉദാഹരണമായി നൂഹിന്‍റെ ഭാര്യയെയും, ലൂത്വിന്‍റെ ഭാര്യയെയും അല്ലാഹു ഇതാ എടുത്തുകാണിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. അവര്‍ രണ്ടുപേരും നമ്മുടെ ദാസന്‍മാരില്‍ പെട്ട സദ്‌വൃത്തരായ രണ്ട്‌ ദാസന്‍മാരുടെ കീഴിലായിരുന്നു. എന്നിട്ട്‌ അവരെ രണ്ടുപേരെയും ഇവര്‍ വഞ്ചിച്ചു കളഞ്ഞു. അപ്പോള്‍ അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ ശിക്ഷയില്‍ നിന്ന്‌ യാതൊന്നും അവര്‍ രണ്ടുപേരും ഇവര്‍ക്ക്‌ ഒഴിവാക്കികൊടുത്തില്ല. നിങ്ങള്‍ രണ്ടുപേരും നരകത്തില്‍ കടക്കുന്നവരോടൊപ്പം കടന്നുകൊള്ളുക എന്ന്‌ പറയപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്തു.(10)
(10) ضَرَبَ اللَّهُ مَثَلًا لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا امْرَأَتَ نُوحٍ وَامْرَأَتَ لُوطٍ ۖ كَانَتَا تَحْتَ عَبْدَيْنِ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا صَالِحَيْنِ فَخَانَتَاهُمَا فَلَمْ يُغْنِيَا عَنْهُمَا مِنَ اللَّهِ شَيْئًا وَقِيلَ ادْخُلَا النَّارَ مَعَ الدَّاخِلِينَ
Allah sets forth an example for those who disbelieve, the wife of Nuh (Noah) and the wife of Lout (Lot). They were under two of our righteous slaves, but they both betrayed their (husbands by rejecting their doctrine) so they [Nuh (Noah) and Lout (Lot)] benefited them (their respective wives) not, against Allah, and it was said: "Enter the Fire along with those who enter!"(10)
