നബി അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്‍റെ ഭാര്യമാരില്‍ ഒരാളോട്‌ ഒരു വര്‍ത്തമാനം രഹസ്യമായി പറഞ്ഞ സന്ദര്‍ഭം (ശ്രദ്ധേയമാകുന്നു.) എന്നിട്ട്‌ ആ ഭാര്യ അത്‌ (മറ്റൊരാളെ) അറിയിക്കുകയും, നബിക്ക്‌ അല്ലാഹു അത്‌ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തി കൊടുക്കുകയും ചെയ്തപ്പോള്‍ അതിന്‍റെ ചില ഭാഗം അദ്ദേഹം (ആ ഭാര്യയ്ക്ക്‌) അറിയിച്ചുകൊടുക്കുകയും ചില ഭാഗം വിട്ടുകളയുകയും ചെയ്തു. അങ്ങനെ അവളോട്‌ (ആ ഭാര്യയോട്‌) അദ്ദേഹം അതിനെ പറ്റി വിവരം അറിയിച്ചപ്പോള്‍ അവള്‍ പറഞ്ഞു: താങ്കള്‍ക്ക്‌ ആരാണ്‌ ഈ വിവരം അറിയിച്ചു തന്നത്‌ ? നബി (സ) പറഞ്ഞു: സര്‍വ്വജ്ഞനും സൂക്ഷ്മജ്ഞാനിയുമായിട്ടുള്ളവനാണ്‌ എനിക്ക്‌ വിവരമറിയിച്ചു തന്നത്‌.(3)
(3) وَإِذْ أَسَرَّ النَّبِيُّ إِلَىٰ بَعْضِ أَزْوَاجِهِ حَدِيثًا فَلَمَّا نَبَّأَتْ بِهِ وَأَظْهَرَهُ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ عَرَّفَ بَعْضَهُ وَأَعْرَضَ عَنْ بَعْضٍ ۖ فَلَمَّا نَبَّأَهَا بِهِ قَالَتْ مَنْ أَنْبَأَكَ هَٰذَا ۖ قَالَ نَبَّأَنِيَ الْعَلِيمُ الْخَبِيرُ
And (remember) when the Prophet (SAW) disclosed a matter in confidence to one of his wives (Hafsah), so when she told it (to another i.e. 'Aishah), and Allah made it known to him, he informed part thereof and left a part. Then when he told her (Hafsah) thereof, she said: "Who told you this?" He said: "The All-Knower, the All-Aware (Allah) has told me".(3)
