കോട്ടകെട്ടിയ പട്ടണങ്ങളില് വെച്ചോ മതിലുകളുടെ പിന്നില് നിന്നോ അല്ലാതെ അവര് ഒരുമിച്ച് നിങ്ങളോട് യുദ്ധം ചെയ്യുകയില്ല. അവര് തമ്മില് തന്നെയുള്ള പോരാട്ടം കടുത്തതാകുന്നു. അവര് ഒരുമിച്ചാണെന്ന് നീ വിചാരിക്കുന്നു. അവരുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങള് ഭിന്നിപ്പിലാകുന്നു. അവര് ചിന്തിച്ചു മനസ്സിലാക്കാത്ത ഒരു ജനതയായത് കൊണ്ടത്രെ അത്.(14)
(14) لَا يُقَاتِلُونَكُمْ جَمِيعًا إِلَّا فِي قُرًى مُحَصَّنَةٍ أَوْ مِنْ وَرَاءِ جُدُرٍ ۚ بَأْسُهُمْ بَيْنَهُمْ شَدِيدٌ ۚ تَحْسَبُهُمْ جَمِيعًا وَقُلُوبُهُمْ شَتَّىٰ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ لَا يَعْقِلُونَ
They fight not against you even together, except in fortified townships, or from behind walls. Their enmity among themselves is very great. You would think they were united, but their hearts are divided, that is because they are a people who understand not.(14)
