അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ അനുഗ്രഹത്തില് നിന്ന് യാതൊന്നും അധീനപ്പെടുത്തുവാന് തങ്ങള്ക്ക് കഴിവില്ലെന്നും തീര്ച്ചയായും അനുഗ്രഹം അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ കയ്യിലാണെന്നും അത് അവന് ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നവര്ക്ക് അവന് നല്കുമെന്നും വേദക്കാര് അറിയാന് വേണ്ടിയാണ് ഇത്. അല്ലാഹു മഹത്തായ അനുഗ്രഹമുള്ളവനാകുന്നു.(29)
(29) لِئَلَّا يَعْلَمَ أَهْلُ الْكِتَابِ أَلَّا يَقْدِرُونَ عَلَىٰ شَيْءٍ مِنْ فَضْلِ اللَّهِ ۙ وَأَنَّ الْفَضْلَ بِيَدِ اللَّهِ يُؤْتِيهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ ۚ وَاللَّهُ ذُو الْفَضْلِ الْعَظِيمِ
So that the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) may know that they have no power whatsoever over the Grace of Allah, and that (His) Grace is (entirely) in His Hand to bestow it on whomsoever He wills. And Allah is the Owner of Great Bounty.(29)
