തീര്ച്ചയായും നാം നൂഹിനെയും ഇബ്രാഹീമിനെയും (ദൂതന്മാരായി) നിയോഗിച്ചു. അവര് ഇരുവരുടെയും സന്തതികളില് പ്രവാചകത്വവും വേദഗ്രന്ഥവും നാം ഏര്പെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു. അങ്ങനെ അവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില് സന്മാര്ഗം പ്രാപിച്ചവരുണ്ട്. അവരില് അധികപേരും ദുര്മാര്ഗികളാകുന്നു.(26)
(26) وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحًا وَإِبْرَاهِيمَ وَجَعَلْنَا فِي ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا النُّبُوَّةَ وَالْكِتَابَ ۖ فَمِنْهُمْ مُهْتَدٍ ۖ وَكَثِيرٌ مِنْهُمْ فَاسِقُونَ
And indeed, We sent Nuh (Noah) and Ibrahim (Abraham), and placed in their offspring Prophethood and Scripture, and among them there is he who is guided, but many of them are Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah).(26)
