(ഇങ്ങനെ നാം ചെയ്തത്,) നിങ്ങള്ക്കു നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടതിന്റെ പേരില് നിങ്ങള് ദുഃഖിക്കാതിരിക്കുവാനും, നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് അവന് നല്കിയതിന്റെ പേരില് നിങ്ങള് ആഹ്ലാദിക്കാതിരിക്കുവാനും വേണ്ടിയാണ്. അല്ലാഹു യാതൊരു അഹങ്കാരിയെയും ദുരഭിമാനിയെയും ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുകയില്ല.(23)
(23) لِكَيْلَا تَأْسَوْا عَلَىٰ مَا فَاتَكُمْ وَلَا تَفْرَحُوا بِمَا آتَاكُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ مُخْتَالٍ فَخُورٍ
In order that you may not be sad over matters that you fail to get, nor rejoice because of that which has been given to you. And Allah likes not prideful boasters.(23)
