അവര്‍ ഗുരുതരമായ പാപത്തില്‍ ശഠിച്ചുനില്‍ക്കുന്നവരുമായിരുന്നു.(46)

(46) وَكَانُوا يُصِرُّونَ عَلَى الْحِنْثِ الْعَظِيمِ

And were persisting in great sin (joining partners in worship along with Allah, committing murders and other crimes, etc.)(46)
