നിങ്ങളുടെ പക്കലുള്ള വേദഗ്രന്ഥങ്ങളെ ശരിവെച്ചുകൊണ്ട് ഞാന് അവതരിപ്പിച്ച സന്ദേശത്തില് (ഖുര്ആനില്) നിങ്ങള് വിശ്വസിക്കൂ. അതിനെ ആദ്യമായി തന്നെ നിഷേധിക്കുന്നവര് നിങ്ങളാകരുത്. തുച്ഛമായ വിലയ്ക്ക് (ഭൗതിക നേട്ടത്തിനു) പകരം എന്റെവചനങ്ങള് നിങ്ങള് വിറ്റുകളയുകയും ചെയ്യരുത്. എന്നോട് മാത്രം നിങ്ങള് ഭയഭക്തി പുലര്ത്തുക.(41)
(41) وَآمِنُوا بِمَا أَنْزَلْتُ مُصَدِّقًا لِمَا مَعَكُمْ وَلَا تَكُونُوا أَوَّلَ كَافِرٍ بِهِ ۖ وَلَا تَشْتَرُوا بِآيَاتِي ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا وَإِيَّايَ فَاتَّقُونِ
And believe in what I have sent down (this Quran), confirming that which is with you, [the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)], and be not the first to disbelieve therein, and buy not with My Verses [the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] a small price (i.e. getting a small gain by selling My Verses), and fear Me and Me Alone.
