ഹേ; മനുഷ്യരേ, തീര്ച്ചയായും നിങ്ങളെ നാം ഒരു ആണില് നിന്നും ഒരു പെണ്ണില് നിന്നുമായി സൃഷ്ടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. നിങ്ങള് അന്യോന്യം അറിയേണ്ടതിന് നിങ്ങളെ നാം വിവിധ സമുദായങ്ങളും ഗോത്രങ്ങളും ആക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു. തീര്ച്ചയായും അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ അടുത്ത് നിങ്ങളില് ഏറ്റവും ആദരണീയന് നിങ്ങളില് ഏറ്റവും ധര്മ്മനിഷ്ഠ പാലിക്കുന്നവനാകുന്നു. തീര്ച്ചയായും അല്ലാഹു സര്വ്വജ്ഞനും സൂക്ഷ്മജ്ഞാനിയുമാകുന്നു.(13)
(13) يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَاكُمْ مِنْ ذَكَرٍ وَأُنْثَىٰ وَجَعَلْنَاكُمْ شُعُوبًا وَقَبَائِلَ لِتَعَارَفُوا ۚ إِنَّ أَكْرَمَكُمْ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ أَتْقَاكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ خَبِيرٌ
O mankind! We have created you from a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that you may know one another. Verily, the most honourable of you with Allah is that (believer) who has At-Taqwa [i.e. one of the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2). Verily, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Aware.(13)
