നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് ഒരു വിപത്ത് നേരിട്ടു. അതിന്റെ ഇരട്ടി നിങ്ങള് ശത്രുക്കള്ക്ക് വരുത്തിവെച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. എന്നിട്ടും നിങ്ങള് പറയുകയാണോ; ഇതെങ്ങനെയാണ് സംഭവിച്ചത് എന്ന്? (നബിയേ,) പറയുക: അത് നിങ്ങളുടെ പക്കല് നിന്ന് തന്നെ ഉണ്ടായതാകുന്നു. തീര്ച്ചയായും അല്ലാഹു ഏതൊരു കാര്യത്തിനും കഴിവുള്ളവനാകുന്നു.(165)
(165) أَوَلَمَّا أَصَابَتْكُمْ مُصِيبَةٌ قَدْ أَصَبْتُمْ مِثْلَيْهَا قُلْتُمْ أَنَّىٰ هَٰذَا ۖ قُلْ هُوَ مِنْ عِنْدِ أَنْفُسِكُمْ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
(What is the matter with you?) When a single disaster smites you, although you smote (your enemies) with one twice as great, you say: "From where does this come to us?" Say (to them), "It is from yourselves (because of your evil deeds)." And Allah has power over all things.(165)
