അവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില് നീ പറയുന്നത് ശ്രദ്ധിച്ച് കേള്ക്കുന്ന ചിലരുണ്ട്. എന്നാല് നിന്റെ അടുത്ത് നിന്ന് അവര് പുറത്ത് പോയാല് വേദ വിജ്ഞാനം നല്കപ്പെട്ടവരോട് അവര് (പരിഹാസപൂര്വ്വം) പറയും: എന്താണ് ഇദ്ദേഹം ഇപ്പോള് പറഞ്ഞത്? അത്തരക്കാരുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങളിന്മേലാകുന്നു അല്ലാഹു മുദ്രവെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. തങ്ങളുടെ തന്നിഷ്ടങ്ങളെ പിന്പറ്റുകയാണവര് ചെയ്തത്.(16)
(16) وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَسْتَمِعُ إِلَيْكَ حَتَّىٰ إِذَا خَرَجُوا مِنْ عِنْدِكَ قَالُوا لِلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْعِلْمَ مَاذَا قَالَ آنِفًا ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ طَبَعَ اللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ وَاتَّبَعُوا أَهْوَاءَهُمْ
And among them are some who listen to you (O Muhammad SAW) till, when they go out from you, they say to those who have received knowledge: "What has he said just now? Such are men whose hearts Allah has sealed, and they follow their lusts (evil desires).(16)
