അവര് ഭൂമിയില് കൂടി സഞ്ചരിച്ചിട്ടില്ലേ? എങ്കില് തങ്ങളുടെ മുന്ഗാമികളുടെ പര്യവസാനം എങ്ങനെയായിരുന്നു എന്നവര്ക്ക് നോക്കിക്കാണാമായിരുന്നു. അല്ലാഹു അവരെ തകര്ത്തു കളഞ്ഞു. ഈ സത്യനിഷേധികള്ക്കുമുണ്ട് അതു പോലെയുള്ളവ. (ശിക്ഷകള്)(10)
(10) ۞ أَفَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَيَنْظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ دَمَّرَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ ۖ وَلِلْكَافِرِينَ أَمْثَالُهَا
Have they not travelled through the earth, and seen what was the end of those before them? Allah destroyed them completely and a similar (fate awaits) the disbelievers.(10)
