അവര് പറഞ്ഞു: ജീവിതമെന്നാല് നമ്മുടെ ഐഹികജീവിതം മാത്രമാകുന്നു. നാം മരിക്കുന്നു. നാം ജീവിക്കുന്നു. നമ്മെ നശിപ്പിക്കുന്നത് കാലം മാത്രമാകുന്നു. (വാസ്തവത്തില്) അവര്ക്ക് അതിനെപ്പറ്റി യാതൊരു അറിവുമില്ല. അവര് ഊഹിക്കുക മാത്രമാകുന്നു.(24)
(24) وَقَالُوا مَا هِيَ إِلَّا حَيَاتُنَا الدُّنْيَا نَمُوتُ وَنَحْيَا وَمَا يُهْلِكُنَا إِلَّا الدَّهْرُ ۚ وَمَا لَهُمْ بِذَٰلِكَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ ۖ إِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا يَظُنُّونَ
And they say: "There is nothing but our life of this world, we die and we live and nothing destroys us except Ad-Dahr (the time). And they have no knowledge of it, they only conjecture.(24)
