(നബിയേ,) പിന്നീട് നിന്നെ നാം (മത) കാര്യത്തില് ഒരു തെളിഞ്ഞ മാര്ഗത്തിലാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു. ആകയാല് നീ അതിനെ പിന്തുടരുക. അറിവില്ലാത്തവരുടെ തന്നിഷ്ടങ്ങളെ നീ പിന്പറ്റരുത്.(18)
(18) ثُمَّ جَعَلْنَاكَ عَلَىٰ شَرِيعَةٍ مِنَ الْأَمْرِ فَاتَّبِعْهَا وَلَا تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَاءَ الَّذِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
Then We have put you (O Muhammad SAW) on a plain way of (Our) commandment [like the one which We commanded Our Messengers before you (i.e. legal ways and laws of the Islamic Monotheism)]. So follow you that (Islamic Monotheism and its laws), and follow not the desires of those who know not. [Tafsir At-Tabari Vol. 25, Page 146].(18)
