രണ്ടു സംഘങ്ങള് ഏറ്റുമുട്ടിയ ദിവസം നിങ്ങളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില് നിന്ന് പിന്തിരിഞ്ഞ് ഓടിയവരെ തങ്ങളുടെ ചില ചെയ്തികള് കാരണമായി പിശാച് വഴിതെറ്റിക്കുകയാണുണ്ടായത്. അല്ലാഹു അവര്ക്ക് മാപ്പുനല്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു. തീര്ച്ചയായും അല്ലാഹു ഏറെ പൊറുക്കുന്നവനും സഹനശീലനുമാകുന്നു.(155)
(155) إِنَّ الَّذِينَ تَوَلَّوْا مِنْكُمْ يَوْمَ الْتَقَى الْجَمْعَانِ إِنَّمَا اسْتَزَلَّهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ بِبَعْضِ مَا كَسَبُوا ۖ وَلَقَدْ عَفَا اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ حَلِيمٌ
Those of you who turned back on the day the two hosts met (i.e. the battle of Uhud), it was Shaitan (Satan) who caused them to backslide (run away from the battlefield) because of some (sins) they had earned. But Allah, indeed, has forgiven them. Surely, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Forbearing.(155)
