ഇവര്ക്ക് മുമ്പ് ഫിര്ഔന്റെ ജനതയെ നാം പരീക്ഷിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. മാന്യനായ ഒരു ദൂതന് അവരുടെ അടുത്ത് ചെന്നു.(17)
(17) ۞ وَلَقَدْ فَتَنَّا قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَجَاءَهُمْ رَسُولٌ كَرِيمٌ
And indeed We tried before them Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) people, when there came to them a noble Messenger [i.e. Musa (Moses)],(17)
