ഞങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവങ്ങളാണോ ഉത്തമം, അതല്ല, അദ്ദേഹമാണോ എന്നവര് പറയുകയും ചെയ്തു. അവര് നിന്റെ മുമ്പില് അതെടുത്തു കാണിച്ചത് ഒരു തര്ക്കത്തിനായി മാത്രമാണ്. എന്നു തന്നെയല്ല അവര് പിടിവാശിക്കാരായ ഒരു ജനവിഭാഗമാകുന്നു.(58)
(58) وَقَالُوا أَآلِهَتُنَا خَيْرٌ أَمْ هُوَ ۚ مَا ضَرَبُوهُ لَكَ إِلَّا جَدَلًا ۚ بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ خَصِمُونَ
And say: "Are our aliha (gods) better or is he ['Iesa (Jesus)]?" They quoted not the above example except for argument. Nay! But they are a quarrelsome people. [(See VV. 21:97-101) - The Quran.](58)
