അങ്ങനെ ഫിര്ഔന് തന്റെ ജനങ്ങളെ വിഡ്ഢികളാക്കി. അവര് അവനെ അനുസരിച്ചു. തീര്ച്ചയായും അവര് അധര്മ്മകാരികളായ ഒരു ജനതയായിരുന്നു.(54)
(54) فَاسْتَخَفَّ قَوْمَهُ فَأَطَاعُوهُ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَوْمًا فَاسِقِينَ
Thus he [Fir'aun (Pharaoh)] befooled and misled his people, and they obeyed him. Verily, they were ever a people who were Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah).(54)
