ഈ രണ്ട് പട്ടണങ്ങളില് നിന്നുള്ള ഏതെങ്കിലും ഒരു മഹാപുരുഷന്റെ മേല് എന്തുകൊണ്ട് ഈ ഖുര്ആന് അവതരിപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടില്ല എന്നും അവര് പറഞ്ഞു.(31)
(31) وَقَالُوا لَوْلَا نُزِّلَ هَٰذَا الْقُرْآنُ عَلَىٰ رَجُلٍ مِنَ الْقَرْيَتَيْنِ عَظِيمٍ
And they say: "Why is not this Quran sent down to some great man of the two towns (Makkah and Ta'if)?"(31)
