ഒരു തിന്മയ്ക്കുള്ള പ്രതിഫലം അതുപോലുള്ള ഒരു തിന്മതന്നെയാകുന്നു. എന്നാല് ആരെങ്കിലും മാപ്പുനല്കുകയും രഞ്ജിപ്പുണ്ടാക്കുകയും ആണെങ്കില് അവന്നുള്ള പ്രതിഫലം അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ ബാധ്യതയിലാകുന്നു. തീര്ച്ചയായും അവന് അക്രമം പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നവരെ ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുകയില്ല.(40)
(40) وَجَزَاءُ سَيِّئَةٍ سَيِّئَةٌ مِثْلُهَا ۖ فَمَنْ عَفَا وَأَصْلَحَ فَأَجْرُهُ عَلَى اللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ الظَّالِمِينَ
The recompense for an evil is an evil like thereof, but whoever forgives and makes reconciliation, his reward is due from Allah. Verily, He likes not the Zalimun (oppressors, polytheists, and wrong-doers, etc.).(40)
