(നബിയേ,) നിനക്ക് മുമ്പുണ്ടായിരുന്ന ദൂതന്മാരോട് പറയപ്പെട്ടതല്ലാത്ത ഒന്നും നിന്നോട് പറയപ്പെടുന്നില്ല. തീര്ച്ചയായും നിന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് പാപമോചനം നല്കുന്നവനും വേദനയേറിയ ശിക്ഷ നല്കുന്നവനുമാകുന്നു.(43)
(43) مَا يُقَالُ لَكَ إِلَّا مَا قَدْ قِيلَ لِلرُّسُلِ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ ۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَذُو مَغْفِرَةٍ وَذُو عِقَابٍ أَلِيمٍ
Nothing is said to you (O Muhammad SAW) except what was said to the Messengers before you. Verily, your Lord is the Possessor of forgiveness, and (also) the Possessor of painful punishment.(43)
