അല്ലെങ്കില് ശിക്ഷ നേരില് കാണുന്ന സന്ദര്ഭത്തില് എനിക്കൊന്ന് മടങ്ങിപ്പോകാന് കഴിഞ്ഞിരുന്നെങ്കില് ഞാന് സദ്വൃത്തരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില് ആകുമായിരുന്നു എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞേക്കുമെന്നതിനാല്.(58)
(58) أَوْ تَقُولَ حِينَ تَرَى الْعَذَابَ لَوْ أَنَّ لِي كَرَّةً فَأَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ
Or (lest) he should say when he sees the torment: "If only I had another chance (to return to the world) then I should indeed be among the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112)."(58)
