അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു. എന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവേ, നീ എനിക്ക് പൊറുത്തുതരികയും എനിക്ക് ശേഷം ഒരാള്ക്കും തരപ്പെടാത്ത ഒരു രാജവാഴ്ച നീ എനിക്ക് പ്രദാനം ചെയ്യുകയും ചെയ്യേണമേ. തീര്ച്ചയായും നീ തന്നെയാണ് ഏറ്റവും വലിയ ദാനശീലന്.(35)
(35) قَالَ رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَهَبْ لِي مُلْكًا لَا يَنْبَغِي لِأَحَدٍ مِنْ بَعْدِي ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْوَهَّابُ
He said: "My Lord! Forgive me, and bestow upon me a kingdom such as shall not belong to any other after me: Verily, You are the Bestower."(35)
