അപ്പോള് അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: എന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്റെ സ്മരണയുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിലാണ് ഐശ്വര്യത്തെ ഞാന് സ്നേഹിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളത്. അങ്ങനെ അവ (കുതിരകള്) മറവില് പോയി മറഞ്ഞു.(32)
(32) فَقَالَ إِنِّي أَحْبَبْتُ حُبَّ الْخَيْرِ عَنْ ذِكْرِ رَبِّي حَتَّىٰ تَوَارَتْ بِالْحِجَابِ
And he said: "Alas! I did love the good (these horses) instead of remembering my Lord (in my 'Asr prayer)" till the time was over, and (the sun) had hidden in the veil (of night).(32)
