അവര്ക്ക് മുമ്പ് നൂഹിന്റെ ജനതയും, ആദ് സമുദായവും, ആണികളുറപ്പിച്ചിരുന്ന ഫിര്ഔനും നിഷേധിച്ചു തള്ളിയിട്ടുണ്ട്,(12)
(12) كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ وَعَادٌ وَفِرْعَوْنُ ذُو الْأَوْتَادِ
Before them (were many who) belied Messengers, the people of Nuh (Noah); and 'Ad; and Fir'aun (Pharaoh) the man of stakes (with which he used to punish the people),(12)
