അവര്ക്ക് മുമ്പ് എത്രയെത്ര തലമുറകളെ നാം നശിപ്പിച്ചു. അപ്പോള് അവര് മുറവിളികൂട്ടി. എന്നാല് അത് രക്ഷപ്രാപിക്കാനുള്ള സമയമല്ല.(3)
(3) كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ مِنْ قَرْنٍ فَنَادَوْا وَلَاتَ حِينَ مَنَاصٍ
How many a generation We have destroyed before them, and they cried out when there was no longer time for escape!(3)
