എന്നിട്ട്‌ അദ്ദേഹം (കപ്പല്‍ യാത്രക്കാരോടൊപ്പം) നറുക്കെടുപ്പില്‍ പങ്കെടുത്തു. അപ്പോള്‍ അദ്ദേഹം പരാജിതരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിലായിപോയി.(141)

(141) فَسَاهَمَ فَكَانَ مِنَ الْمُدْحَضِينَ

He (agreed to) cast lots, and he was among the losers,(141)
