ഇഷാഖ് എന്ന മകന്റെ ജനനത്തെപ്പറ്റിയും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് നാം സന്തോഷവാര്ത്ത അറിയിച്ചു. സദ്വൃത്തരില് പെട്ട ഒരു പ്രവാചകന് എന്ന നിലയില്.(112)
(112) وَبَشَّرْنَاهُ بِإِسْحَاقَ نَبِيًّا مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ
And We gave him the glad tidings of Ishaque (Isaac) a Prophet from the righteous.(112)
