അല്ലാഹു പ്രവാചകന്‍മാരോട്‌ കരാര്‍ വാങ്ങിയ സന്ദര്‍ഭം (ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുക) : ഞാന്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക്‌ വേദഗ്രന്ഥവും വിജ്ഞാനവും നല്‍കുകയും, അനന്തരം നിങ്ങളുടെ പക്കലുള്ളതിനെ ശരിവെച്ചുകൊണ്ട്‌ ഒരു ദൂതന്‍ നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുത്ത്‌ വരികയുമാണെങ്കില്‍ തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നിങ്ങള്‍ അദ്ദേഹത്തില്‍ വിശ്വസിക്കുകയും, അദ്ദേഹത്തെ സഹായിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യേണ്ടതാണ്‌ എന്ന്‌. (തുടര്‍ന്ന്‌) അവന്‍ (അവരോട്‌) ചോദിച്ചു: നിങ്ങളത്‌ സമ്മതിക്കുകയും അക്കാര്യത്തില്‍ എന്നോടുള്ള ബാധ്യത ഏറ്റെടുക്കുകയും ചെയ്തുവോ? അവര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു: അതെ, ഞങ്ങള്‍ സമ്മതിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. അവന്‍ പറഞ്ഞു: എങ്കില്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ അതിന്‌ സാക്ഷികളായിരിക്കുക. ഞാനും നിങ്ങളോടൊപ്പം സാക്ഷിയായിരിക്കുന്നതാണ്‌.(81)
(81) وَإِذْ أَخَذَ اللَّهُ مِيثَاقَ النَّبِيِّينَ لَمَا آتَيْتُكُمْ مِنْ كِتَابٍ وَحِكْمَةٍ ثُمَّ جَاءَكُمْ رَسُولٌ مُصَدِّقٌ لِمَا مَعَكُمْ لَتُؤْمِنُنَّ بِهِ وَلَتَنْصُرُنَّهُ ۚ قَالَ أَأَقْرَرْتُمْ وَأَخَذْتُمْ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكُمْ إِصْرِي ۖ قَالُوا أَقْرَرْنَا ۚ قَالَ فَاشْهَدُوا وَأَنَا مَعَكُمْ مِنَ الشَّاهِدِينَ
And (remember) when Allah took the Covenant of the Prophets, saying: "Take whatever I gave you from the Book and Hikmah (understanding of the Laws of Allah, etc.), and afterwards there will come to you a Messenger (Muhammad SAW) confirming what is with you; you must, then, believe in him and help him." Allah said: "Do you agree (to it) and will you take up My Covenant (which I conclude with you)?" They said: "We agree." He said: "Then bear witness; and I am with you among the witnesses (for this)."(81)
