അവര് (ജനങ്ങള്) പറഞ്ഞു: തീര്ച്ചയായും ഞങ്ങള് നിങ്ങളെ ഒരു ദുശ്ശകുനമായി കരുതുന്നു. നിങ്ങള് (ഇതില് നിന്ന്) വിരമിക്കാത്ത പക്ഷം നിങ്ങളെ ഞങ്ങള് എറിഞ്ഞോടിക്കുക തന്നെ ചെയ്യും. ഞങ്ങളില് നിന്ന് വേദനിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ശിക്ഷ നിങ്ങളെ സ്പര്ശിക്കുക തന്നെ ചെയ്യും.(18)
(18) قَالُوا إِنَّا تَطَيَّرْنَا بِكُمْ ۖ لَئِنْ لَمْ تَنْتَهُوا لَنَرْجُمَنَّكُمْ وَلَيَمَسَّنَّكُمْ مِنَّا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
They (people) said: "For us, we see an evil omen from you, if you cease not, we will surely stone you, and a painful torment will touch you from us."(18)
