അവരിലേക്ക് രണ്ടുപേരെ നാം ദൂതന്മാരായി അയച്ചപ്പോള് അവരെ അവര് നിഷേധിച്ചുതള്ളി. അപ്പോള് ഒരു മൂന്നാമനെക്കൊണ്ട് നാം അവര്ക്ക് പിന്ബലം നല്കി. എന്നിട്ടവര് പറഞ്ഞു: തീര്ച്ചയായും ഞങ്ങള് നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുത്തേക്ക് നിയോഗിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരാകുന്നു.(14)
(14) إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَا إِلَيْهِمُ اثْنَيْنِ فَكَذَّبُوهُمَا فَعَزَّزْنَا بِثَالِثٍ فَقَالُوا إِنَّا إِلَيْكُمْ مُرْسَلُونَ
When We sent to them two Messengers, they belied them both, so We reinforced them with a third, and they said: "Verily! We have been sent to you as Messengers."(14)
