അല്ലാഹു മനുഷ്യരെ അവര് പ്രവര്ത്തിച്ചതിന്റെ പേരില് (ഉടനെതന്നെ) പിടിച്ച് ശിക്ഷിക്കുകയായിരുന്നുവെങ്കില് ഭൂമുഖത്ത് ഒരു ജന്തുവെയും അവന് വിട്ടേക്കുകയില്ലായിരുന്നു. എന്നാല് ഒരു നിശ്ചിത അവധിവരെ അവരെ അവന് നീട്ടിയിടുന്നു. അങ്ങനെ അവരുടെ അവധി വന്നെത്തിയാല് (അവര്ക്ക് രക്ഷപ്പെടാനാവില്ല.) കാരണം, തീര്ച്ചയായും അല്ലാഹു തന്റെ ദാസന്മാരെപ്പറ്റി കണ്ടറിയുന്നവനാകുന്നു.(45)
(45) وَلَوْ يُؤَاخِذُ اللَّهُ النَّاسَ بِمَا كَسَبُوا مَا تَرَكَ عَلَىٰ ظَهْرِهَا مِنْ دَابَّةٍ وَلَٰكِنْ يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى ۖ فَإِذَا جَاءَ أَجَلُهُمْ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ بِعِبَادِهِ بَصِيرًا
And if Allah were to punish men for that which they earned, He would not leave a moving (living) creature on the surface of the earth, but He gives them respite to an appointed term, and when their term comes, then verily, Allah is Ever AllSeer of His slaves.(45)
