വേദക്കാരില് ഒരു വിഭാഗം (സ്വന്തം അനുയായികളോട്) പറഞ്ഞു: ഈ വിശ്വാസികള്ക്ക് അവതരിപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടതില് പകലിന്റെ ആരംഭത്തില് നിങ്ങള് വിശ്വസിച്ചുകൊള്ളുക. പകലിന്റെ അവസാനത്തില് നിങ്ങളത് അവിശ്വസിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുക. (അത് കണ്ട്) അവര് (വിശ്വാസികള്) പിന്മാറിയേക്കാം.(72)
(72) وَقَالَتْ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ آمِنُوا بِالَّذِي أُنْزِلَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَجْهَ النَّهَارِ وَاكْفُرُوا آخِرَهُ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ
And a party of the people of the Scripture say: "Believe in the morning in that which is revealed to the believers (Muslims), and reject it at the end of the day, so that they may turn back.(72)
