അല്ലാഹുവും അവന്റെ റസൂലും ഒരു കാര്യത്തില് തീരുമാനമെടുത്ത് കഴിഞ്ഞാല് സത്യവിശ്വാസിയായ ഒരു പുരുഷന്നാകട്ടെ, സ്ത്രീക്കാകട്ടെ തങ്ങളുടെ കാര്യത്തെ സംബന്ധിച്ച് സ്വതന്ത്രമായ അഭിപ്രായം ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കാവുന്നതല്ല. വല്ലവനും അല്ലാഹുവെയും അവന്റെ ദൂതനെയും ധിക്കരിക്കുന്ന പക്ഷം അവന് വ്യക്തമായ നിലയില് വഴിപിഴച്ചു പോയിരിക്കുന്നു.(36)
(36) وَمَا كَانَ لِمُؤْمِنٍ وَلَا مُؤْمِنَةٍ إِذَا قَضَى اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَمْرًا أَنْ يَكُونَ لَهُمُ الْخِيَرَةُ مِنْ أَمْرِهِمْ ۗ وَمَنْ يَعْصِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ ضَلَالًا مُبِينًا
It is not for a believer, man or woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decreed a matter that they should have any option in their decision. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger, he has indeed strayed in a plain error.(36)
