എന്റെ കുഞ്ഞുമകനേ, നീ നമസ്കാരം മുറപോലെ നിര്വഹിക്കുകയും സദാചാരം കല്പിക്കുകയും ദുരാചാരത്തില് നിന്ന് വിലക്കുകയും, നിനക്ക് ബാധിച്ച വിഷമങ്ങളില് ക്ഷമിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുക. തീര്ച്ചയായും ഖണ്ഡിതമായി നിര്ദേശിക്കപ്പെട്ട കാര്യങ്ങളില് പെട്ടതത്രെ അത്.(17)
(17) يَا بُنَيَّ أَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ وَأْمُرْ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَانْهَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَاصْبِرْ عَلَىٰ مَا أَصَابَكَ ۖ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ مِنْ عَزْمِ الْأُمُورِ
"O my son! Aqim-is-Salat (perform As-Salat), enjoin (people) for Al-Ma'ruf (Islamic Monotheism and all that is good), and forbid (people) from Al-Munkar (i.e. disbelief in the Oneness of Allah, polytheism of all kinds and all that is evil and bad), and bear with patience whatever befall you. Verily! These are some of the important commandments ordered by Allah with no exemption.(17)
