ഖാറൂനെയും, ഫിര്ഔനെയും ഹാമാനെയും (നാം നശിപ്പിച്ചു.) വ്യക്തമായ തെളിവുകളും കൊണ്ട് മൂസാ അവരുടെ അടുത്ത് ചെല്ലുകയുണ്ടായി. അപ്പോള് അവര് നാട്ടില് അഹങ്കരിച്ച് നടന്നു. അവര് (നമ്മെ) മറികടക്കുന്നവരായില്ല.(39)
(39) وَقَارُونَ وَفِرْعَوْنَ وَهَامَانَ ۖ وَلَقَدْ جَاءَهُمْ مُوسَىٰ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَاسْتَكْبَرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَا كَانُوا سَابِقِينَ
And (We destroyed also) Qarun (Korah), Fir'aun (Pharaoh), and Haman. And indeed Musa (Moses) came to them with clear Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), but they were arrogant in the land, yet they could not outstrip Us (escape Our punishment).(39)
