മലക്കുകള് പറഞ്ഞ സന്ദര്ഭവും (ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുക:) മര്യമേ, തീര്ച്ചയായും അല്ലാഹു നിന്നെ പ്രത്യേകം തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുകയും, നിനക്ക് പരിശുദ്ധി നല്കുകയും, ലോകത്തുള്ള സ്ത്രീകളില് വെച്ച് ഉല്കൃഷ്ടയായി നിന്നെ തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.(42)
(42) وَإِذْ قَالَتِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ يَا مَرْيَمُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ اصْطَفَاكِ وَطَهَّرَكِ وَاصْطَفَاكِ عَلَىٰ نِسَاءِ الْعَالَمِينَ
And (remember) when the angels said: "O Maryam (Mary)! Verily, Allah has chosen you, purified you (from polytheism and disbelief), and chosen you above the women of the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns) (of her lifetime)."(42)
