(നബിയേ,) പറയുക: എന്നാല് അവ രണ്ടിനെക്കാളും നേര്വഴി കാണിക്കുന്നതായ ഒരു ഗ്രന്ഥം അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ പക്കല് നിന്ന് നിങ്ങള് കൊണ്ട് വരൂ; ഞാനത് പിന്പറ്റിക്കൊള്ളാം. നിങ്ങള് സത്യവാന്മാരാണെങ്കില്.(49)
(49) قُلْ فَأْتُوا بِكِتَابٍ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللَّهِ هُوَ أَهْدَىٰ مِنْهُمَا أَتَّبِعْهُ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
Say (to them, O Muhammad SAW): "Then bring a Book from Allah, which is a better guide than these two [the Taurat (Torah) and the Quran], that I may follow it, if you are truthful."(49)
