മരണപ്പെട്ടവരെ നിനക്ക് കേള്പിക്കാനാവുകയില്ല; തീര്ച്ച. ബധിരന്മാര് പുറംതിരിച്ചു മാറിപോയാല് അവരെയും നിനക്ക് വിളികേള്പിക്കാനാവില്ല.(80)
(80) إِنَّكَ لَا تُسْمِعُ الْمَوْتَىٰ وَلَا تُسْمِعُ الصُّمَّ الدُّعَاءَ إِذَا وَلَّوْا مُدْبِرِينَ
Verily, you cannot make the dead to hear (i.e. benefit them and similarly the disbelievers), nor can you make the deaf to hear the call, when they flee, turning their backs.(80)
