അദ്ദേഹം പക്ഷികളെ പരിശോധിക്കുകയുണ്ടായി. എന്നിട്ട് അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു; എന്തുപറ്റി? മരംകൊത്തിയെ ഞാന് കാണുന്നില്ലല്ലോ, അഥവാ അത് സ്ഥലം വിട്ടു പോയ കൂട്ടത്തിലാണോ?(20)
(20) وَتَفَقَّدَ الطَّيْرَ فَقَالَ مَا لِيَ لَا أَرَى الْهُدْهُدَ أَمْ كَانَ مِنَ الْغَائِبِينَ
He inspected the birds, and said: "What is the matter that I see not the hoopoe? Or is he among the absentees?(20)
