അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ജനതയില് നിന്ന് അവിശ്വസിച്ചവരും, പരലോകത്തെ കണ്ടുമുട്ടുന്നതിനെ നിഷേധിച്ചു കളഞ്ഞവരും, ഐഹികജീവിതത്തില് നാം സുഖാഡംബരങ്ങള് നല്കിയവരുമായ പ്രമാണിമാര് പറഞ്ഞു: ഇവന് നിങ്ങളെപ്പോലെയുള്ള ഒരു മനുഷ്യന് മാത്രമാകുന്നു. നിങ്ങള് തിന്നുന്ന തരത്തിലുള്ളത് തന്നെയാണ് അവന് തിന്നുന്നത്. നിങ്ങള് കുടിക്കുന്ന തരത്തിലുള്ളത് തന്നെയാണ് അവനും കുടിക്കുന്നത്.(33)
(33) وَقَالَ الْمَلَأُ مِنْ قَوْمِهِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَكَذَّبُوا بِلِقَاءِ الْآخِرَةِ وَأَتْرَفْنَاهُمْ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا مَا هَٰذَا إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِثْلُكُمْ يَأْكُلُ مِمَّا تَأْكُلُونَ مِنْهُ وَيَشْرَبُ مِمَّا تَشْرَبُونَ
And the chiefs of his people, who disbelieved and denied the Meeting in the Hereafter, and to whom We had given the luxuries and comforts of this life, said: "He is no more than a human being like you, he eats of that which you eat, and drinks of what you drink.(33)
