കൊടുത്തതിനെത്തുടര്ന്ന് മനഃക്ലേശം വരുത്തുന്ന ദാനധര്മ്മത്തെക്കാള് ഉത്തമമായിട്ടുള്ളത് നല്ല വാക്കും വിട്ടുവീഴ്ചയുമാകുന്നു. അല്ലാഹു പരാശ്രയം ആവശ്യമില്ലാത്തവനും സഹനശീലനുമാകുന്നു.(263)
(263) ۞ قَوْلٌ مَعْرُوفٌ وَمَغْفِرَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِنْ صَدَقَةٍ يَتْبَعُهَا أَذًى ۗ وَاللَّهُ غَنِيٌّ حَلِيمٌ
Kind words and forgiving of faults are better than Sadaqah (charity) followed by injury. And Allah is Rich (Free of all wants) and He is Most-Forbearing.(263)
