എത്രയോ നാടുകള്ക്ക് അവിടത്തുകാര് അക്രമികളായിരിക്കെതന്നെ ഞാന് സമയം നീട്ടികൊടുക്കുകയും, പിന്നീട് ഞാന് അവരെ പിടികൂടുകയും ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്. എന്റെ അടുത്തേക്കാകുന്നു (എല്ലാറ്റിന്റെയും) മടക്കം.(48)
(48) وَكَأَيِّنْ مِنْ قَرْيَةٍ أَمْلَيْتُ لَهَا وَهِيَ ظَالِمَةٌ ثُمَّ أَخَذْتُهَا وَإِلَيَّ الْمَصِيرُ
And many a township did I give respite while it was given to wrong-doing. Then (in the end) I seized it (with punishment). And to Me is the (final) return (of all).(48)
