ദാവൂദിനെയും (പുത്രന്) സുലൈമാനെയും (ഓര്ക്കുക.) ഒരു ജനവിഭാഗത്തിന്റെ ആടുകള് വിളയില് കടന്ന് മേഞ്ഞ പ്രശ്നത്തില് അവര് രണ്ട് പേരും വിധികല്പിക്കുന്ന സന്ദര്ഭം. അവരുടെ വിധിക്ക് നാം സാക്ഷ്യം വഹിക്കുന്നുണ്ടായിരിന്നു.(78)
(78) وَدَاوُودَ وَسُلَيْمَانَ إِذْ يَحْكُمَانِ فِي الْحَرْثِ إِذْ نَفَشَتْ فِيهِ غَنَمُ الْقَوْمِ وَكُنَّا لِحُكْمِهِمْ شَاهِدِينَ
And (remember) Dawud (David) and Sulaiman (Solomon), when they gave judgement in the case of the field in which the sheep of certain people had pastured at night and We were witness to their judgement.(78)
