ലൂത്വിന് നാം വിധികര്ത്തൃത്വവും വിജ്ഞാനവും നല്കുകയുണ്ടായി. ദുര്വൃത്തികള് ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടിരുന്ന ആ നാട്ടില് നിന്ന് അദ്ദേഹത്തെ നാം രക്ഷപ്പെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു. തീര്ച്ചയായും അവര് (നാട്ടുകാര്) ധിക്കാരികളായ ഒരു ദുഷിച്ച ജനതയായിരുന്നു.(74)
(74) وَلُوطًا آتَيْنَاهُ حُكْمًا وَعِلْمًا وَنَجَّيْنَاهُ مِنَ الْقَرْيَةِ الَّتِي كَانَتْ تَعْمَلُ الْخَبَائِثَ ۗ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَوْمَ سَوْءٍ فَاسِقِينَ
And (remember) Lout (Lot), We gave him Hukman (right judgement of the affairs and Prophethood) and (religious) knowledge, and We saved him from the town (folk) who practised Al-Khaba'ith (evil, wicked and filthy deeds, etc.). Verily, they were a people given to evil, and were Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient, to Allah).(74)
