നാം ഒരു വിനോദമുണ്ടാക്കാന് ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചിരുന്നുവെങ്കില് നമ്മുടെ അടുക്കല് നിന്നു തന്നെ നാമത് ഉണ്ടാക്കുമായിരുന്നു. (എന്നാല്) നാം (അത്) ചെയ്യുന്നതല്ല.(17)
(17) لَوْ أَرَدْنَا أَنْ نَتَّخِذَ لَهْوًا لَاتَّخَذْنَاهُ مِنْ لَدُنَّا إِنْ كُنَّا فَاعِلِينَ
Had We intended to take a pastime (i.e. a wife or a son, etc.), We could surely have taken it from Us, if We were going to do (that).(17)
