അനന്തരം അവരോടുള്ള വാഗ്ദാനത്തില് നാം സത്യസന്ധത പാലിച്ചു. അങ്ങനെ അവരെയും നാം ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നവരെയും നാം രക്ഷപ്പെടുത്തി. അതിരുകവിഞ്ഞവരെ നാം നശിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.(9)
(9) ثُمَّ صَدَقْنَاهُمُ الْوَعْدَ فَأَنْجَيْنَاهُمْ وَمَنْ نَشَاءُ وَأَهْلَكْنَا الْمُسْرِفِينَ
Then We fulfilled to them the promise, and We saved them and those whom We willed, but We destroyed Al-Musrifun (i.e. extravagants in oppression, polytheism and in sin).(9)
