അദ്ദേഹം (ഹാറൂന്) പറഞ്ഞു: എന്റെ ഉമ്മയുടെ മകനേ, നീ എന്റെ താടിയിലും തലയിലും പിടിക്കാതിരിക്കൂ. ഇസ്രായീല് സന്തതികള്ക്കിടയില് നീ ഭിന്നിപ്പുണ്ടാക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞു, എന്റെ വാക്കിന് നീ കാത്തുനിന്നില്ല. എന്ന് നീ പറയുമെന്ന് ഞാന് ഭയപ്പെടുകയാണുണ്ടായത്.(94)
(94) قَالَ يَا ابْنَ أُمَّ لَا تَأْخُذْ بِلِحْيَتِي وَلَا بِرَأْسِي ۖ إِنِّي خَشِيتُ أَنْ تَقُولَ فَرَّقْتَ بَيْنَ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَلَمْ تَرْقُبْ قَوْلِي
He [Harun (Aaron)] said: "O son of my mother! Seize (me) not by my beard, nor by my head! Verily, I feared lest you should say: 'You have caused a division among the Children of Israel, and you have not respected my word!' "(94)
