അവര് പറഞ്ഞു: ഹേ, ദുല്ഖര്നൈന്, തീര്ച്ചയായും യഅ്ജൂജ് - മഅ്ജൂജ് വിഭാഗങ്ങള് ഭൂമിയില് കുഴപ്പമുണ്ടാക്കുന്നവരാകുന്നു. ഞങ്ങള്ക്കും അവര്ക്കുമിടയില് താങ്കള് ഒരു മതില്കെട്ട് ഉണ്ടാക്കിത്തരണമെന്ന വ്യവസ്ഥയില് ഞങ്ങള് താങ്കള്ക്ക് ഒരു കരം നിശ്ചയിച്ച് തരട്ടെയോ?(94)
(94) قَالُوا يَا ذَا الْقَرْنَيْنِ إِنَّ يَأْجُوجَ وَمَأْجُوجَ مُفْسِدُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَهَلْ نَجْعَلُ لَكَ خَرْجًا عَلَىٰ أَنْ تَجْعَلَ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَهُمْ سَدًّا
They said: "O Dhul-Qarnain! Verily! Ya'juj and Ma'juj (Gog and Magog) are doing great mischief in the land. Shall we then pay you a tribute in order that you might erect a barrier between us and them?"(94)
